Peerflix is an online trading community designed for movie buffs. They are not exactly a rental service because movies are sold, not rented to other members.

As a new member you would set up your “store,” which is a list of movies you are willing to trade within the community. After a few sales you will have established some cash and are able to buy movies from other members. You set your sale price and the buyer pays postage. There is also a $.99 transaction fee charged by Peerflix.

Peerfilx has a DVD mailer that you can print out right from your computer. However, it is not big enough for the case. If you do not feel comfortable only mailing the DVD disc you may need to purchase separate mailers.

It is unknown exactly how many movies are available on the site because the inventory is constantly changing. Information includes title, actors, director, release date, run time and synopsis. They also include reviews by other members.

This site and service is dependant on community involvement. There are member reviews, discussions, groups, pictures and forums.
