Earlier this year Netflix upped their arsenal of decent movies to watch instantly online. There are still only a few handfuls of respectable titles on the list of over 12,000 movies and TV episodes, but things continue to look up. Just take a look at some of the great titles recently added:



Ok, some are definitely better than others, but there are some decent time-wasters in there ... somewhere.

Regardless of film caliber, the real news today is that Netflix's Watch Instantly lineup is now available for Mac users. The service has been in beta for just over a month, and is now ready to greet all subscribers. The feature requires Mac OS X (10.4.8 or later), Safari 3 or Firefox 2 (or higher), 1GB RAM, and being willing to install a Microsoft product, Silverlight, on your Mac. Oh, the irony!

If you're trying to sift through the film fodder and find a tolerable flick, may we suggest our TopTenREVIEWS Movie Reviews. Or you could just settle for Josh Kirby: Journey to the Magic Cavern. Your Mac will never be the same.
